Agnieszka Zick
Bio
Agnieszka Zick is a Polish-born pianist and pedagogue. She maintains a keen interest in standard repertoire, promotes contemporary music, and advocates for inclusive music repertoire for students and audiences. Zick’s playing in the recent CD release “Orchard - A collection of 50 short piano pieces” by Tyler Kline (Neuma Records, January 2022), was described as “incredibly sensitive, for example, and she paints beauty in sound” (Fanfare Magazine).
Zick’s scholarship and pedagogy have been shared through presentations at conferences ranging from local to the international level including: La Frontera International Piano Conference 2025, MusicAlive International Conference Poland 2024, CMS 2023 International Conference in Lithuania, Latvia, and Estonia, CMS 2023 National Conference (Miami, FL), MTNA 2023 National Conference (Reno, NV), NCKP 2025 and 2023 Piano Conference, “Women at the Piano” International Conference 2023, European Piano Teacher Association EPTA Portugal 2022, Puerto Rico Collaborative Piano Music Festival 2022, and State MTA conferences.
Zick was a finalist in the Chautauqua International Piano Competition, and recipient of the Third Prize at the Puerto Rico International Collaborative Piano Competition. Her students received honors and recognition at regional and state competitions. In 2024, Dr. Zick launched Bayshore Piano Chamber Music Series in Tampa, Florida, that offers high-quality, relevant programming as part of Amadeo Music—an organization founded for making piano music accessible to all by creating opportunities for engagement, education, and performance.
Currently she serves as an Adjunct Professor at the State College of Florida Manatee - Sarasota in Bradenton, and Eckerd College in St. Petersburg, Florida.
