Bio

"Taylor Glomb is a second-year DMA Candidate in Piano Pedagogy at the University of South Carolina. She holds a Master of Music degree in Piano Performance from Northern Arizona University, where she graduated with high honors, and a Bachelor of Music degree in Piano Performance from Drake University, graduating Magna Cum Laude with Departmental Honors. An active presenter and pedagogue, Taylor has presented at the Arizona State University Piano Pedagogy Conference, the Arizona State Music Teachers Association Annual Conference, MTNA’s online TEMPO Conference, and the 2024 Music Teachers National Association National Conference. Her current research focuses include the piano works of Edwin York Bowen, creative approaches to assessing musical growth in the piano studio, and the integration of ear training and artificial intelligence in piano pedagogy.
During her time at NAU, Taylor served as President of the Collegiate Chapter of MTNA and worked as Assistant to the Artistic Director of the Flagstaff Piano Festival from 2022–2023. She also served as a Senior Associate and member of the Young Jury at the Southeastern Piano Festival in June 2025. She currently serves as Secretary for the Collegiate Chapter of MTNA at the University of South Carolina. At USC, she is a Graduate Teaching Assistant, working as a Group Piano Instructor and Instructor for the Center for Piano Studies, where she also serves as the Scheduling and Pedagogy Resources Coordinator. In addition to her university roles, she is the organist at Lexington United Methodist Church in Lexington, South Carolina."
