Hanwen Cao

Hanwen Cao is a first-year Doctor of Musical Arts student in Piano Performance at the Texas Tech University School of Music, studying with Dr. Se-Hee Jin. She began studying piano at the age of five and later earned both her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in piano performance from Sichuan Normal University. After completing her graduate studies in 2020, Cao joined the faculty of Leshan Normal University School of Music, where she has been teaching piano and piano pedagogy. As both a performer and educator, she has participated in numerous recitals, ensemble performances, and masterclasses. Her experiences as a teacher and performer continue to shape her musical vision, combining expressive artistry with a deep commitment to education.
